Zendrive

This custom-design pedal is based on the legendary overdrive of the same name, famous for its "dumble in a box" sound, and the cult-like following it has amongst afficionados. In our spin-off, we offer a faithful recreation, not only of the original version, but also the mythical big-box "Version 2".

Version 1 of the circuit (perhaps the most well-known version), is brighter, has lower overall gain, and uses a unique asymmetrical clipping arrangement.

Version 2 is warmer, fuzzier, has more overall gain & bass, and features a smooth, symmetrical clipping setup. The original Version 2 uses a 12ax7 pre-amp tube set up as clipping diodes, but we've opted for specially-selected diodes instead that very closely emulate the sound of Mark's original Version 2.

For possibly the first time ever, you get to experience the two unique flavours of this legendary, sought-after overdrive with just the flick of a switch!
